Mission Objectives

Faith Movers Ministries is a humanitarian mission in Panama with the goal of providing essential support to local schools, mothers, and children through food donations and community engagement.  This mission will bring together a dedicated team of volunteers who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Our mission objectives are:

1.  Support local schools by collaborating with local educational institutions to improve learning environments, provide educational resources, and conduct interactive workshops to enhance the learning experience of students.

2.  Empower mothers by organizing workshops and seminars to empower local mothers with valuable life skills, health education, and vocational training opportunities that can uplift their families and communities.

3.  Nourish children by distributing food donations and nutritional resources to ensure that children have access to proper nourishment, contributing to their growth and development.

4.  Community engagement helps us foster relationships with local communities, encouraging dialogue and cultural exchange to promote understanding, empathy, and long-lasting connections.

5.  Provide volunteering housing and logistics by securing appropriate accommodations, transportation, and safety measures for the volunteers (missionaries) during their stay in Panama.

To achieve the mission's objectives effectively, Faith Movers Ministries is seeking financial support to cover various expenses, including but not limited to:

1.  Travel and accommodation.

2.  Purchasing nutritious food supplies to distribute to local schools, mothers, and children.

3.  Procuring materials for workshops, seminars, and educational activities.

4.  Organizing events to facilitate cultural exchange and relationship-building.

5.  Ensuring the safety and well-being of volunteers through necessary logistics and emergency preparedness.

Our Story

Pastor Calvin Dixon - Senior Pastor

​

Calvin and his wife co-founded, and pastors Faith Movers Ministries located in Warner Robins, GA. Calvin is known for his strong Faith, Love for people and his Humbleness. They are enthusiastic about teaching everyone about the goodness of GOD and they are doers of the Word. He leads the Men Ministry, Finance Team and perform all the administrative duties. 

Calvin was Licensed by Doctor Pastor Glover of Evergreen Church of Macon in December 2017 and Ordained on July 11, 2021. He also holds a master’s degree in Information Technology Management, graduated with honors.

Calvin served 30 years in the United States Air Force and obtained the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He received the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Two Presidential Unit Citations, and the National Defense Service Medal with a Bronze Star. Numerous other awards. He served as Clinic Manager for the Urological Health Center for 8 years. Extensive leadership and management background with over 38 years of experience.

Calvin is married to Soledad Dixon. Together they have three children and six grandchildren. 

Pastor Soledad Dixon

 

Soledad and her husband co-founded, and Pastors Faith Movers Ministries located in Warner Robins, GA. Soledad is known for her strong LOVE for people, FAITH, and the heart to proclaim the gospel. They are enthusiastic about teaching everyone about the goodness of GOD and share their testimony that brought them both into salvation. People seek her daily for spiritual counseling and advice. She was part of the Prison Ministry that spoke to women confined at the Pulaski Detention Center. Soledad was Ordained on December 31, 2017, by Doctor Pastor Roosevelt Glover of Evergreen Church of Macon. She also graduated from Charis Bible College in 2017 and was licensed to minister the Gospel. She received a Technical Degree as Dental Assistant at Clover Park Technical College in Washington State in 2002. Soledad received an Executive Secretary Technical Degree in 1994.  She served as an Executive Assistant to the Director of Accounting at the Health Department in Tacoma-Pierce County Washington State. She was a seamstress by trade in her country of Panama before moving to the United States. She speaks Spanish and English fluently. Soledad is married to Calvin Dixon. Together they have three children and seven grandchildren.
